Mr. Antony Leung is the Co-founder and Group Chairman of New Frontier Group.
Antony is also Group Chairman of Nan Fung Group, a regional conglomerate focusing on property, financial investment and investments in life sciences. He is also Chairman & Co-Founder of Solomon Learning Group, a Hong Kong-based social enterprise that promotes education of money and morals, as well as generative AI. Prior to this, Antony was Senior Managing Director, Chairman of Greater China and a member of the Executive Committee of Blackstone.
Antony was the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong from 2001 to 2003. Prior to this appointment, Antony had extensive experience in financial services. He was the Chairman of Asia for JP Morgan Chase; Country Corporate Officer of Citigroup for China and Hong Kong, Regional Treasurer for North Asia, Head of Investment Banking for North and South West Asia and Head of Private Banking for Asia.
Other public service that Antony had engaged in included Non-Official Member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong SAR, Chairman of Education Commission, Chairman of University Grants Committee, Member of Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, Director of Hong Kong Airport Authority and Hong Kong Futures Exchange, Member of the Preparatory Committee and Election Committee for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Hong Kong Affairs Advisors.
Antony was Independent Director of China Merchants Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Mobile (Hong Kong) Limited, and American International Assurance (Hong Kong) Limited; Vice Chairman of China National Bluestar Group and International Advisory Board Member of China Development Bank and European Advisory Group.
Antony is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of China Construction Bank and chairman of two charity organizations - Heifer Hong Kong and Food Angel.

Carl Wu is the Co-Founder and CEO of New Frontier Group.
Under his leadership, New Frontier has developed into an integrated healthcare system and life science company in China, with operations ranging from general and specialty hospitals, primary and urgent care services, rehabilitation hospitals, home health care, health insurance solutions, and clinical trial services. Through an integrated system of 33 hospitals and more than 200 outpatient and home health centers, New Frontier services approximately 12 million patients annually across 78 cities in China.
Mr. Wu is currently the CEO of New Frontier Health / United Family Healthcare. He is also the Executive Chairman and Co-founder of NF subsidiary companies including YD Care, Heal Medical, NF Greater Bay Health Holding / Shenzhen Sanjiu Hospital, Better Health and Prosper Health, and the Chairman of Care Alliance.
Mr. Wu holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he graduated with First Class Honors. Prior to founding New Frontier, Mr. Wu was a Managing Director at Blackstone and executed some of Blackstone’s most important investments in China. He was a founding member of Blackstone Asia, and was instrumental in establishing Blackstone’s business in China. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Wu worked at the mergers and acquisitions department of UBS AG in London.
Mr. Wu was acknowledged by Fortune as one of the “40 under 40” global business and political leaders in 2021. He is the member of the 14th Shanghai Municipal Political Consultative Conference.
Managing Director; Co-COO - New Frontier Group
Mr. David Zeng is the Managing Director and the Co-COO of New Frontier Group and is also a Director of the Board and the COO of New Frontier Health. Mr. Zeng is primarily responsible for the investments efforts at New Frontier Group and the operations of portfolio companies. Mr. Zeng led the acquisition of United Family Healthcare by New Frontier Corporation (renamed to New Frontier Health Corporation) with a total enterprise valuation of $1.44 billion.
Prior to joining New Frontier, Mr. Zeng was a Senior Associate at Blackstone’s Private Equity Group in Hong Kong. At Blackstone, he executed a number of investments across multiple industries in China, including the take-private of Global Sources Limited (one of world’s largest electronics exhibition operators) and the buyout of Shya Hsin Packaging (one of world’s largest color cosmetics plastic packagers). Mr. Zeng was also actively involved in the operations of Blackstone portfolio companies. He was most recently the interim-CFO and Executive Director of Shya Hsin Packaging and led a number of key operational initiatives. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Zeng was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Barclays in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining New Frontier, Tom was an Investment Professional at Viking Global Investors, one of the largest global hedge funds, where he was responsible for a few billion dollars in the Asia Internet, Technology, Media and Telecom, and Industrial sectors. Prior to Viking, Tom was at Blackstone’s Private Equity Group in Hong Kong. He was one of the earlier members of the Blackstone Asia team, where he led and executed a number of investments in China, Korea, South East Asia and Australia. Prior to Hong Kong, Tom worked at Francisco Partners and McKinsey in San Francisco.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University, and a Masters degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Managing Director; CSO - New Frontier Group
Mr. Mengwei Xin is the Managing Director and Chief Strategy Officer at New Frontier Group, where he leads the development and execution of strategic initiatives, operational planning, and business growth efforts. At New Frontier, Mr. Xin plays a key role in shaping the group's direction and expanding its integrated healthcare platform across China.
Prior to joining New Frontier, Mr. Xin was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he co-led the Healthcare Systems and Services Practice in China and Asia. Mr. Xin worked closely with leading hospital groups, insurance companies, public entities, and private equity funds to drive strategic transformations and build new healthcare ventures. Before McKinsey, Mr. Xin gained valuable experience in corporate finance and investment at Goldman Sachs and Citi.
Mr. Xin holds a Master of Business Administration at Columbia Business School, a Master of Science in Finance at EDHEC Business School, and a Bachelor of Engineering at Nanyang Technological University.

Mr. Wang is responsible of leading the overall finance function of New Frontier Group and all the portfolio companies. He works closely with venture teams and focuses on building the excellence of financial and operational management that helps business to grow rapidly and sustainably.
Prior to joining New Frontier, Mr. Wang held senior position at Amcor China and Deloitte, where he led consulting services for well-known MNCs in both financial and pharmaceutical sectors.
Mr. Wang earned his Bachelor degree in Engineering from Fudan University, as well as the International Master of Business Administration degree from Sauder School of Business at University of British Columbia.

Ed Tam – Managing Director New Frontier Group Mr. Ed Tam is a seasoned healthcare entrepreneur and executive, bringing over twenty years of global expertise in corporate strategy, business development, and operational management. As the Executive Director of New Frontier Group (NFG), and foundering team member of New Frontier, Mr. Tam as played a pivotal role in the development of the organisation.
Under his leadership, NFG is dedicated to integrating design thinking and advanced technologies to develop innovative solutions, ensuring that it meets the dynamic needs of patients while setting new standards for healthcare delivery in China.
In addition to his role at NFG, Mr. Tam serves as the Chief Executive Officer of United Family International Medical Service. In this capacity, he is committed to enhancing access to global healthcare for Chinese patients, with a specific focus on oncology, fertility, and longevity medicine. Furthermore, he facilitates collaboration with neighboring countries to provide access to exceptional surgical, as well as pharmacological solutions available in China.
Mr. Tam is also the founder of the HEAL Medical Group - a micro-healthcare network that encompasses, a dedicated cancer care center, a surgically-led multi-specialist centre, a state-of-the-art aesthetic treatment centre; and also a leading fertility centre.
Prior to his tenure at NFG, Mr. Tam was the founder and CEO of Hellotoby, an online service platform that connects service providers with consumers, where he played a key role in driving business growth and expansion. He also held senior marketing positions at Nike in China promoting the particiation in sports.
Mr. Tam earned his Bachelor of Arts from the London School of Economics and Political Science, followed by a Master of Design in Service Design from the Royal College of Art.
Executive Director - New Frontier
He is currently CEO of New Frontier Health Insurance Services,and also leads New Frontier's insurance business and is the Co-Founder and President of Prosper, a leading health insurance solutions provider, and Better, a leading insurance brokerage. He also serves as the Executive Chairman at HelloToby, a leading local services marketplace in Hong Kong and played an instrumental role in the creation of Boxful, Asia's largest on-demand self-storage company.
Before joining New Frontier, Jason worked in the Investment Banking Division at JPMorgan where he was involved in a number of high-profile equity transactions across Greater Asia.
Jason was acknowledged by Forbes Asia's "30 Under 30 Entrepreneur". He earned his Master in Financial Economics degree from the University of Oxford and is also an alumnus of University of British Columbia where he earned his Bachelor in Commerce.
Executive Director; COO - New Frontier GBA
Brian currently helps with the new project development and ventures portfolio management in New Frontier. Brian works closely with the venture team at New Frontier and is involved in formulating deal terms, structuring and execution of investment opportunities.
Before joining New Frontier, Brian spent 6 years in consulting and VC sector. Brian worked in McKinsey & Company, Greater China first as a Business Analyst and an Associate, covering healthcare, financial, internet, consumer goods, logistics industries, etc. After the time at McKinsey, Brian joined Nova Founders Capital as a Venture Manager to manage over 100Mil HKD yearly digital marketing budget for its major portfolio companies.
Brian earned his Bachelor in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
CTO
Prince currently serves as the CTO for Toby, the leading Marketplace for Services in Hong Kong, where he is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects, including the software architecture, information technology and engineering of the company. Prior to his role at Toby, Mr. Wang has over 10 years of technical experience serving as the Lead Senior Software Engineer in China’s most prestigious tech companies including AliPay and Dianpin (now Meituan-Dianpin), as well as the Senior System Architect behind one of the leading transportation management software in North America.
Prince graduated from Wuhan University where he received his Master’s in Computer Science and Bachelor in Physics.

Ms. Yunyun Lu has more than 20 years of rich experience in human resource management in corporates and consulting firms.
Prior to joining New Frontier Group, she was an Deals Services Partner at PwC Advisory, where she provided HR consulting services to companies in various industries as well as financial and strategic investors.
Prior to that, she held various human resources management positions at Lafarge and the Shui On Group.
After joining New Frontier Group, Ms. Yunyun Lu led the establishment of the group's human resources system, and assisted the group's brother companies to improve their human resources strategy and management.
Ms. Yunyun Lu holds a master's degree in psychology from Beijing Normal University and a bachelor's degree from South China University of Technology.

As a key member of the Acquisition of United Family Healthcare by New Frontier Corporation (renamed to New Frontier Health Corporation) with a total enterprise valuation of $1.44 billion in 2019 and the privatization of New Frontier Health at ~$1.6 billion in 2022, Arthur has been deeply involved in the strategy, operation, investment and financing of New Frontier Health (United Family Healthcare).
Before joining New Frontier, Arthur worked in IDG Capital as a Financial Analyst where he was involved in the post investment financial analysis of hundreds of portfolio companies across the world. Prior to this, he was an Associate in PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory.
Arthur obtained his Bachelor in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Hong Kong.

Before joining New Frontier, Mr. Tianyao Ding had 8 years of experience in the infrastructure sector and served as Director at JLL China Strategic Consulting Dept.

Prior to New Frontier, she worked at CMC Capital Partners and Vivo Capital, focusing on healthcare investments. Also, she worked at L.E.K. Consulting before, focusing on commercial due diligence, market entry and strategy development in the healthcare sector.
Ms. Tiantian Zhu received an M.A. in International Economics and Relations from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Prior joining New Frontier, Cynthia was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey Shanghai office, dedicated in healthcare industry. She has served major domestic and global hospital groups, health providers, and leading insurers, with extensive experience in hospital operation and management, corporate health strategy, and health insurance strategy topics. Before joining McKinsey, she was the founder and CEO of a medical device startup company.
Ms. Cynthia Zhu received her master degree in Electrical Engineering from Corenell University, and bachelor degree in Physicis and Economics from University of Notre Dame.
Associate Director of Human Resources
Prior to joining New Frontier Group, he was the Associate Director of comprehensive Incentives at the Human Resources Center of Fosun Group Headquarters, responsible for designing the long-term incentive plan and global mobility plan of Fosun Group's listed and unlisted business enterprises. At the same time, he is also the HR Associate Director of Fosun Hive Overseas.
Prior to joining Fosun Group, he was an Deals Services Manager at PwC China Consulting, providing HR consulting services to enterprises in different industries as well as financial and strategic investors.
Prior to that, he consulted with consulting firms on compensation incentives and equity structure design.
After joining New Frontier Group, he assisted to complete the construction of the group's Human Resource system, and established the mechanism of internal communication and system of Human Resource strategy and management of brother companies.
Kyle Chang holds a Master's degree in Finance from Fudan University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking from Tamkang University in Taiwan.

Ms. Yizi Zhou is responsible for financial and treasury management of New Frontier Group.
Through the gradual establishment of a centralized management model, she is fully responsible for the capital management and internal control coordination of the group's actually controlled enterprises, and has taken the lead in financial management, equity restructuring, bank credit and other work in stages with a financial BP role.
Ms. Yizi Zhou graduated from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and holds a Bachelor and a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance.

Mr Yuan is the Chief Financial Officer of United Family Healthcare.
He is an experienced finance leader across technology and health care industries, with proven track record in strategic business partnering, finance transformation and talent development. Mr. Yuan joined UFH from Johnson & Johnson where he last served as CFO and board member for XiAn Janssen. In this role he has provided strategic finance leadership to drive business transformation and hyper-growth for J&J China pharmaceutical business. Mr Yuan spent 15 years in Johnson & Johnson, taking various senior finance leadership roles in China and Asia Pacific for pharmaceutical and vision acre business. Before Johnson and Johnson, Mr. Yuan worked in Motorola and Lenovo International with broad experience in FP&A, controllership and finance shared services.
Mr. Yuan obtained bachelor’s degree in economics from Nan Kai University and an MBA from University of Chicago.

Professor Alastair Mah is Vice President of Medical Affairs at United Family Healthcare.
Professor Alastair Mah leads all medical staff and clinical services, with clinical governance and academic governance responsibilities.
Professor Alastair Mah has extensive hospital management experience in Australia and Hong Kong region, including as Chief Medical Officer at major academic health services. He served on multiple Board of Directors, including the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and Rural Workforce Agency of Victoria.
Professor Alastair Mah holds professorial positions with Deakin University, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University.
CNO – New Frontier Health / United Family Healthcare
Ms. Xiaoyan Shen is the Chief Nursing Officer at United Family Healthcare (UFH), bringing over 40 years of extensive experience in clinical nursing, nursing management, and education across leading hospitals in China and abroad. Her expertise spans nursing operations management, quality improvement, team development, professional growth for nurses, and nursing education and training.
As a key founding member of UFH, Ms. Shen has been with the organization for 27 years. Throughout this time, she has led her team in establishing UFH's patient-centered nursing philosophy and care model. She has also been instrumental in cultivating nurses' clinical expertise and service capabilities in specialized and disease-specific care, enabling UFH to provide personalized, world-class healthcare to patients from across China and around the world. This commitment to excellence has earned widespread recognition and praise from patients.
Ms. Shen has consistently focused on enhancing the quality and efficiency of nursing services. She is dedicated to improving patient experiences through innovative management practices and the integration of advanced technologies. Under her leadership, her teams have successfully achieved multiple accreditations from the Joint Commission International (JCIA), reflecting her deep expertise in hospital quality and safety management. Ms. Shen has also published numerous research papers in both Chinese and English, underscoring her significant contributions to nursing management, patient safety, and nursing education.
Ms. Shen holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration from Walden University in the United States. She currently serves as a board member of the Management Committee of the Beijing Nursing Association and is a standing member of the Nursing Administration Branch of the Chinese Non-Government Medical Institutions Association. She previously served as a standing member of the Occupational Health Protection Working Committee for Healthcare Workers under the Chinese Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control.

General Manager of Beijing United Family Hospital
Ms. Sylvia Pan, current GM of Beijing-Tianjin Area & Shenzhen, and GM of Beijing United Family Hospital, joined the United Family Healthcare in 1996 and participated in the preparations for, and opening of Beijing United Family Hospital. She has held a series of positions, including project manager, administrative manager, assistant GM, acting GM of Shanghai United Family Hospital, and vice president of strategic system development. In 2020, she became the General Manager of United Family Beijing Market. In 2022, she started to manage Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital. In 2024, she is responsible for overall operations and development of the Beijing-Tianjin Area, with extensive experience in international hospital and cross-regional collaborative healthcare management.
She holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Business Administration at the University of Colorado, a Master’s degree from Peking University’s Guanghua Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in English literature. She finished her Ph.D courses of Executive health administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and she is currently taking her DrPH courses at Tsinghua-Johns Hopkins University.
Ms. Pan has won several awards, including but not limited to, the 2012 Healthy China Ten 10 People of the Year conferred by Health Times, Research Center for Public Health of Tsinghua University, Institute for Health Communication of Tsinghua University, 2017-2018 Health Circle Top 10 People of the Year - Excellent Manager conferred by Health media Med.china, etc. In 2018 she received a golden award as the hospital CEO of the year in China, conferred by Asia Hospital Management Awards.

Dr. Liu Wei currently serve as the General Manager of United Family Healthcare Shanghai Market and General Manager of Beijing United Family Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Prior to joining United Family Hospital in Beijing, Dr. Liu Wei worked at Peking Union Medical College Hospital for 18 years. After joining United Family in 2015, she has held various positions including Chair of Anesthesiology and Operating Room at BJU, Associate Chief Medical Officer of UFH Beijing Market (BJM), Chief Medical Officer at DTU, and General Manager at DTU. She has played an important role in the development of BJM and the commissioning and robust development of DTU. At the end of 2023, Dr. Liu was appointed as the General Manager of United Family Healthcare Shanghai Market (SHM), continuing to promote the integration of " One Shanghai City, One United Family " in the Shanghai region, providing high-quality medical services to patients and clients in Shanghai. Dr. Liu is also an active and influential member in both clinical and hospital management fields, holding important academic positions in various organizations, including the China Non-Government Medical Institutions Association and the Hospital Management Branch of Shanghai Non-Public Medical Institutions Association.

Dr. Kelly Xia is the General Manager of Guangzhou United Family Hospital. In 2018, Dr. Xia led the United Family Guangzhou team to a successful and smooth launch as grade 2 hospital, and quickly establish a solid foundation and break through, making the hospital one of the benchmarks for high-quality, international non-public hospitals in the Greater Bay Area.
Dr. Kelly Xia has been involved in pediatric clinical work for over 30 years. She is a renowned pediatric professor in the South China region. She has rich experience and achieved outstanding achievements in various levels of GBA government liaison, medical policy interpretation and implementation, medical market analysis and medical investment, medical staff management and expert resource management etc.
Dr. Kelly Xia graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor’s degree in Pediatrics. She completed her internship and residency in China. Dr. Xia also studied Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, at the Medical College of Georgia in the United States for three years. Dr. Kelly Xia was awarded the title of Professor of Pediatrics at Sun Yat-Sen University, where she taught medical undergraduates, graduate students and residents, and trained several pediatric master’s and bachelor’s degree students. Dr. Xia is a proud recipient of the National Natural Science Foundation and the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation Province. She has published several papers in national and foreign medical journals. Dr. Xia also received an MBA from the University of Minnesota, USA.

Ms. Manbo Man, has officially joined Shenzhen United Family Hospital on June 3, 2024, taking up the position of Executive General Manager and concurrently serving as the CNO of the hospital.
Ms. Manbo holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science in Advanced Nursing Major in Nursing Education from the University of Melbourne. She also obtained an EMBA degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master's degree in Management from the City University of Hong Kong. During her career, Ms. Manbo has accumulated profound medical management experience: since 1988, she has served as a Senior Nursing Officer (Education)/Chief Nurse, Lecturer at the Nursing College, Assistant Chief Nurse, and Chief Nurse at the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, and was promoted to the Director of Nursing Services in 2003, responsible for the overall operation and management of the hospital. Ms. Manbo's professional background and management experience enabled her to play a leading role in various areas of medical management. She is proficient in the operation and management of medical services, and possesses excellent strategic planning, team-building, and crisis-handling abilities. Under her leadership, the medical services and management level of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital have won high praise from patients and peers.
Ms. Manbo's outstanding contributions have been widely recognized. She was awarded the Medal of Honour by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2011. Additionally, she has also received the fellowship honors from the Hong Kong College of Nursing and the Hong Kong Institute of Health Services Administrators, which demonstrate Ms. Manbo's remarkable achievements in healthcare management and the full recognition of her hard work and dedication in the medical industry over the years.

With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, KK has held key positions at multinational companies such as GlaxoSmithKline and UCB, managing marketing operations across various Asian markets, including Taiwan region, South Korea, and other ASEAN countries. Prior to joining the Hong Kong Integrated Oncology Centre in October 2018, he served as the General Manager for Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR at Amgen, the world's largest independent biotechnology company, where he led the establishment of Amgen's Hong Kong SAR branch and was responsible for strategic decision-making and operational management.
KK has actively contributed to the advancement of innovative healthcare in the medical community. Since 2019, he has been the founding director of the Hong Kong Society for Innovative Medicine and served as a visiting lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong's School of Professional and Continuing Education.
KK holds a degree in Biochemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master's degree in Health Services Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as a Master's degree in Data Science and Business Statistics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Prof. Poon graduated with MBBS from the University of Hong Kong in 1989, with the award of John Anderson Gold Medal in 1989 and obtained his Master of Surgery and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from HKU. He joined the Department of Surgery at HKU after completing his specialist surgical training at St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, Australia and Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong. He was the Chair Professor of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at the University of Hong Kong and Head of the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital. He was also the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong and the Deputy Director of Center for Cancer Research.
Professor Poon specializes in hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumor research and has published over 400 research articles and has been invited to speak at over 350 international conferences. He was ranked by Research.com as the 15th best medical scientist in China in 2024 and has developed treatment guidelines for liver cancer for the Asia-Pacific Hepatology Society and the National Cancer Institute of the USA.
Prof. Poon was the Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPA), the Founding Director of the International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA) and the Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Association of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Specialists. In Hong Kong, he was the President of the Hong Kong Association of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeons and the Founding President of the Association of Chinese Specialists, and founded the Hong Kong Liver Cancer and Gastrointestinal Cancer Foundation, of which he is currently the Chairman.
Prof. Poon has received several local and international awards for his clinical research accomplishments, including the G.B. Ong Travelling Fellowship, the International Guest Scholarship of the American College of Surgeons, and the HKU Outstanding Researcher Award, and in 2007, he was awarded the King James IV Surgical Association Travelling Fellowship to serve as a visiting professor at leading medical institutions in the United States and Canada.

Prior to founding Care Alliance, Mr. Xu worked at Blackstone’s Private Equity Group in Shanghai and Hong Kong, responsible for the assessment, execution and management of investment opportunities in Greater China. He was a key member executing Blackstone’s first significant healthcare transaction in China – investing over US$150m into one of China’s leading manufacturers of orthopedic implants. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Xu worked at the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank in New York and executed over US$10B+ of M&A and financing transactions.

Prior to Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia, Mr. Yuan worked in Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Division, assisting on multiple cross-border M&A transactions in industrial and transportation sectors.

Serena returned to China in 2010 to lead the China business of global senior living and healthcare conglomerate Emeritus Senior Living and Columbia Hospital, both part of Dan Baty’s global healthcare empire. She successfully set up the first high-end foreign senior living brand and first foreign for-profit senior living facility in China, and systematically localized the US operating model and training program to the Chinese market.
During this time, Serena was also responsible for investing on behalf of Columbia Pacific's Healthcare Fund in China. As part of her role, she bought and built a sizable portfolio of hospitals and clinics, and successfully executed the phase I strategy in terms of market entrance and operating capabilities. In addition, she was a key member in the process of securing major capital investment from Singapore Sovereign Fund.
